Abandoned Landscapes, 2009
Three channel video projection with live musical performance
While performing the New American Cowboy Project we lived illegally and without privacy in a 200 square foot space at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Abandoned Landscapes documented and displayed some of our more “private” activities in a traditional artist-audience environment. This continued to push our ideas about identity, perpetual performance, and social sculpture as experimental mechanisms within our art/life.
